Dr. Gwen Lynch is a Florida native who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in biology. She then returned to her home state and graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. A challenging internship in small animal medicine followed at prestigious Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston.
She then completed a 3 year private practice residency in Southern California and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. Dr. Lynch practiced in LA and then Virginia for several years before returning to California to join Veterinary Vision. She is a two time past president of the Peninsula Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA).
She loves all kinds of animals. She currently has two cats of her own (tiny three-legged Katniss Everdeen and gentle soul Hazel, shown in photo) as well Ghetti, the special horse who patiently instructs her in the fine art of dressage.
