Dr. Albert Mughannam attended the University of California at Davis and received the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1989. From 1989-1990 he did an internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York, followed by four years at a multi-specialty small animal clinic. In 1997 he completed a three-year residency in ophthalmology at UC Davis and became a board certified diplomate of the ACVO in 1998. Dr. Mughannam is a former president of the Peninsula Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) and he really does like turtles.
