Maggie Li Puma is a Colorado native and completed her undergraduate and veterinary degrees at Colorado State University. She then completed a rotating internship at the University of Georgia and stayed at UGA for the residency program (Go Dawgs!). 

Professional interests include feline ophthalmology, eyelid surgery, and intraocular surgery. 

Her personal interests include horseback riding, hiking, and running.
